Will You Use the Power of Your Voice To Bless Other People?
There’s No Reason To Be Silent When God Ordained It To Be So!
Are you familiar with Miriam's story? As is the case with every life, there are different dynamics to her story. Miriam was a leader who spoke when it was not popular for women to have a voice. Yet, it was God who gave her the voice.
Words are powerful and can be life-transforming. Think about that. You have the powerful opportunity to use your voice for transformation. There are many reasons for speaking up.
Let’s take a look at a few of those reasons.
Source of Freedom
You can use your voice as a source of freedom for yourself and others. You can be an agent of change in your environment.
Do you live in a space where people toss negativity about like grains of salt? Your voice could inspire people in that place. Positive and uplifting words inspire greatness in people. Negativity creates feelings of failure and inadequacy.
When given the opportunity, use your voice to build up people rather than tear them down. The effects could be profound. You can create a different community where people perform at a higher level and to a higher standard.
Freedom of Expression
When you use your expressive voice, it could lead others to unknown experiences. Many women desire to build, create, solve problems, pray, write, sing, or dance. Yet they feel held back for whatever reason.
Miriam felt freedom. She picked up her tambourine and started to dance and sing. Women around her did the same. This expression of gratitude to God is the first experience of dancing documented in the Bible.
Miriam's voice was profound. She expressed feelings of exuberance that we still use today. Today, we use dance to communicate appreciation, gratitude, and thanks to God.
Create a Winning Environment
Of course, a person could excel in life because they want to prove that they can win. But wouldn’t it be better to remove negative tension? Couldn't a more peaceful environment lead to higher levels of thinking?
You could be the person who creates opportunities for people to show high potential.
When people feel better about themselves, they make better choices. Consider a person deciding upon a career path. They may enter a profession that requires deep thought, and negative environments could limit their ability to think deeply.
Your voice could be the one that sets the atmosphere for the person who needs calm and quiet surroundings to succeed.
Final Reflections
Miriam was a leader who used her voice to praise God. In doing so, she led the women in a new form of celebration that created a vibe. It's an experience that continues today.
When you use your voice, you have the opportunity to
be a source of freedom

You have a voice. There is no reason to be silent when God ordained it to be so. Use your voice for the good of yourself and others.
