Jennifer George's stats throughout her sports career are impressive. She's a proven leader dedicated to a life of service. Jennifer leverages her basketball experience to inspire and mentor young athletes. Nothing wasted, right?
A University of Florida alumni, and an SEC legend, Jennifer shined brightly as a standout Florida Gator. She became the 11th Gator to reach 1,000 points. Jennifer is remembered as one of the most dominant inside presences at the University of Florida.
This powerhouse athlete was drafted to the WNBA with the Indiana Fever. She closed out her playing career as a pro in Puerto Rico. I applaud the many accolades of Jennifer’s stellar career.

She continues to influence and impact her chosen sport as a coach and founder of the Girls Basketball Worldwide Foundation (GBWF). The non-profit organization uplifts under-resourced communities, emphasizing body image, nutrition, and wellness for girls.
I had the pleasure of meeting Jennifer in Orlando. Her handshake was firm and she exuded confidence. Yet, I recognized a sense of humble pride as she shared her foundation's mission. This young lady has a heart for helping her community.
With the strength of her handpicked team, any of the young girls in her program will excel in life and sports. She leads GBWF with a high degree of excellence in every event and initiative.

Fun and Rewarding Fundraising
When we chatted in Orlando, Jennifer was gearing up for the 2024 “Greens For Hoops” Golf Scramble. Golf tournaments are one of many successful fundraising events hosted by this 501(c)(3) non-profit organization.
Take a look at the highlights of the 2024 event. It’s a fun and worthwhile event that raises funds and continues making an impact in Orlando, the DMV area, and Gainesville. It supports the work towards refurbishing a basketball court in Kingston, Jamaica!
